Our Story
Two French Bulldogs named Fiona and Lola changed everything we thought we knew about pet care. Their journey through rehabilitation inspired us to build something that could help animals everywhere.
The Beginning
The name Fiolo comes from our two French Bulldogs: Fiona and Lola. Lola lost her vision in one eye at just 10 weeks old. Fiona was diagnosed with a genetic spinal defect in late 2020, and after two surgeries, she now lives with permanent paralysis from the chest down. Our dogs are not just the inspiration for our name — they are the reason we do this work.
3 Months at the Clinic
After Fiona's surgery, she needed intensive rehabilitation. We found Centrum Rehabilitacji Weterynaryjnej Z Psitupem in Krakow. For three months, we spent two hours a day, five days a week at the clinic. We watched multiple rehabilitators caring for dozens of animals daily, each with unique conditions. It was enough time to see how such a place really operates.
The Gap We Found
The clinic's tools? Google Calendar for scheduling. Paper documentation for medical records. No easy way to track progress, share cases between specialists, or give pet owners visibility into their animals' care. The clinic owners confirmed what we suspected: dedicated software could transform their work.
A Global Opportunity
The pet rehabilitation market is growing rapidly, with thousands of facilities worldwide and a market projected to double by 2033. Yet most clinics still rely on generic tools like Google Calendar and paper records. Fiolo is the first comprehensive platform designed specifically for pet rehabilitation clinics.
